In a mere two days, I will be re-united with friends (although many will be missing) and with a place that is still home for me.

I am so thankful that I get to go back to Orange City for Northwestern's Homecoming.  I need this trip so much, I can't even explain it.  It's been over four months now since I have seen any of my friends or had a good, face-to-face (excluding Skype) conversation with someone my own age.  As an extrovert who loves people, craves good conversation, and has been spoiled with so many opportunities for these things at NWC, it's been difficult to say the least.

But on Thursday, I get to drive up to IA, spending 13 hours alone in the car to think, pray, and sing at the top of my lungs.  Then I get to be re-united with some of the best friends in the world, attend a Bridal Shower for one of them, go to Homecoming activities at the school I love so dearly.

I   A M   S O   E X C I T E D ! ! !

I can't sleep.
